If you want a full conversion I use a soviet mod that turns the allied side into the soviets... it works well and it's fun. It's on FPS banana (see above).

Does the hybrid SSD let you specify what gets stored on the SSD portion of the drive, or is it just a buffer... cause if it is, I'd just get more memory instead.

For what it's worth, Bulldog is really getting screwed by the Washington state's BS. Sucks.

TBH rockets shoot so slowly people rarely use them all up before they get killed. It's not like he's firing them rapid fire... (although that would be awesome, lol). Seems like it's a non-issue.

I ran a virus scan, and it comes up clean. Everything else I've run on the computer still works fine... but then again, I haven't tried anything as processor heavy or ping dependent like DOD on that machine.

Actually, it's started happening for every map now on that particular computer. I completely erased and re-installed the game and it still does it. It's a quad core AMD X4 with 6 gigs of ram and an Nvidia 9100 integrated video card, running vista. I upgraded the video drivers, and that didn't help, ...

Started working once the server changed maps... didn't know you can still connect via IP address using source console... I'll try that if it happens again.

I just logged off because my mic wasn't working then tried to log back on. The BKW server is gone from my favorites list and when I search for it by filter (keyword: blitz) nothing at all shows up. Why can't I see the server? Anyone else have this issue?

Every time the server changes to this map, about 5 minutes into the map my ping spikes to 300+ and my FPS drops to 5-10. If I reconnect it does it again in about 5 minutes of play. Anyone know why??? I can never play that map because of it... it's really strange.

Every since this new steam update my DOD just hangs at "parsing game info" and doesn't do anything. Anyone else have this happen? Anyone else know why?
