I am noob when it comes to playing dem files or even converting them. Anyone have any suggestions? If so, please use 4th grade language.

Save the .DEM file in the following folder :

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\your_steam_name_here\day of defeat source\dod

Then start DoDs and open up your console with the ~ key

Then type :

playdemo demoname (the name of the demo, not "demoname" for you dummies)

There's also a way to bring up a demo console, but I forget and I'm too lazy to look it up right now.
