Movies-Had to get out for awhile

Post by CMDRRABB »

Hey guys, Had to get out of the house (cabin fever) and decided to check out Avatar(3D version), Book of Eli and Sherlock Holmes today. I hadn't been to the movies in a while, last 3D was about 8 years ago. Thought Avatar was good and the Book of Eli okay. Sherlock was a little disappointing. Fucking 3D has come a long way since the last time I saw one (the old red and blue paper glasses). Just FYI for those who care.

well you cant really consider avatar to be like other 3d movies...from what i've heard james cameron spent like 12 years developing that movie, and creating the technology they used to film the movie. i guess the whole filming process was pretty crazy, but in the end it definitely worked out.

as far as book of eli goes, heard it was actually pretty good. my first impression was that they had an awesome plot and script...just they casted somewhat of a has-been. but maybe that fits perfect for the character...

and sherlock holmes...yeah...robert downey jr? really? gg

Avatar was good. I've heard it's the most expensive movie ever made, but was good.

Haven't seen Book of Eli even though I want to. It looks good and I've heard good things.

Sherlock was ok, I'm not gonna say it was great, but it was by no means bad. Just had to follow the little tricks and turns through it all.

yeah, you didn't miss much on Spiderman 3. Never seen zombieland so I can't help you on that. I did however like Inglorious Basterds and Transformers 2
