Help please...
I got a letter from my ISP telling me I have to limit my upload size to 30GB/day or else they will be forced to cut my internet and cancel my contract. Problem is how can I tell if I'm near this limit? Do you know a free software that can monitor or limit my uploads and tell me when to stop?

Used to use this regularly back in the dial-up days, and it's still available and good software.
AnalogX NetStat
You can reset the bandwidth totals when you like, and it reflects both incoming and outgoing. It's free, with no tricky BS most free programs include. It also works with Win95 through to Win7, and everything inbetween.

Just cut back on the porn. You may want to check some of your services. 30 GB a day is alot and you may have something pinging out. Also if you have wireless you may want to make sure you have security set up correctly. you may have people piggy backing off your connection.

Put a gun on top of it.

depends on the model you have. Just make sure that in order to get onto your wireless you have to log on.
one of the best ways to learn to set it up is to read the manual that came with thewireless access point. That or go to the manufactures website and they usually have a step by step instructions for novice users.

Another devious option is to setup a fake AP and have it pass traffic through to your real one. This way you can intercept the bastages that are stealing your bandwidth, gather data like passwords and logon accounts. Then later setup your real AP to only allow you on it (via MAC filtering, PSK, etc), then logon to their facebook or myspace account, change their passwords, email addresses and "challenge questions" and post "I was stealing internet from my neighbor, don't I feel like a fool now".

This is not the app I need, I need something that can count the total of my daily upload limit. Anyone?
My ISP said that I should uninstall TVU player, coz it uploads files even if I'm not using it. Jap porn is a must so DL stoppage is a no go, lolz.

oh yeah any of those programs that allow you to download though a "network" of people also uploads from your pc. There may be a setting in your software that either restricts or blocks the uploads. I haven't used software like that for a long time. One it's a gateway for hackers and viruses, and I do state related work on my PC and I can only have legit stuff on my computers due to licensing agreements and the fact I could lose my job over it LOL

Yep, it's also strict in our company so I keep all the porns at home :p
Anyway, I tuned my torrents upload limit to 100kbps that should cut my bandwith to half and at the same time not loose my dl/ul ratio at IPTorrents.
