Check your cooling and CPU fan. A faulty fan, even if working but not ramping up RPM's, can cause spikes. If your running an OEM fan, replace it. A really good one is Hyper 212 EVO by CoolerMaster. Issue with link on blitzdod.com page. Fill in the data, then it takes you to paypal page, but when you click "pay with paypal" instead of using credit card (default Canada), it tells you link is bad or something like that.
