BFBC2 runs fine on my Windows 7 machine.

Did you try validating game files or whatever through steam?

Ok, I did what you recommended. Switched back to original BIOS, ran BIOS editor, unlocked the shaders, saved BIOS, and flashed it. The 6970 BIOS became unstable for me. Flashed to 6970 BIOS.

The core clock of 880mhz began to produce instability for me last night. Crashed several games. Backed it off to 850mhz, so far so good.

When I was having "low OS paged pool memory", the only thing that fixed the problem was adding more RAM to my system. Went from 1 gig to 2.5 gigs and all was well.
Prior to that, I had tried every solution offered by web advice. Nothing worked.
