No bmh for a few days.
Bmh is in the hospital. They still don't know whats wrong with him. His heart rate wouldn't drop so they stopped his heart and restarted it to bring it down. Will keep all updated. Prayers go out to you bmh

As of 8pm they are still running tests. One of these tests is a 2 day process. Should know more in the morning. He is in our local hospital in P.A. Wa.

Wow talk about your life doing a 180. I'm very sad to hear this.
I told that crazy bastard to quit drinking them 4loko!
Sounds like they cardioverted him the first time due to some type of arrhythmia.
As for the inefficiency in cardiac output... not really sure. Is it a blockage, valve failure?
Poor guy. Hope the surgery goes well and complication free. Recovery will not be easy and will take many months. Tell him to hang tough.

Surgery went ok. Now they are dealing with his foot. If they cant fix the circulation may be taking his toes. We will see what doctors say tomorrow. So ya he is still in the hospital.

Re: No bmh for a few days.
Take his toes jeebus. They wont do an angioplasty to get circulation going again? Maybe some leeches to get that shit pumping again like they do sometimes for amputations that are having difficulty taking? I dunno thats a fucking bummer though Hope everything goes well BMH and I hope you come back all in one piece and feeling better.
Re: No bmh for a few days.
Thanks for the updates Jborne, He's gonna get thru this, he's a tough one and we are ALL sending him positive thoughts.

Surgery went well. Bmh still has toes. They are keeping him for a few more days to monitor him to make sure there are no complications. So be warned he is coming back real soon.

Re: No bmh for a few days.
Two stints in my groinage and almost a week later...
I'm out but not out of the woods yet. I'm taking Coumidan (Warfarin) along with 6 other drugs for pain, blood thinning, etc. Staying the night at as friends place but should be home sometime b4 noon. Developed a bad side-effect, water retention in the groin. My shit looks like a grapefruit right now but the swelling has gone down a bit and my aim is improving.
Smoking and drinking is BAD. I'm not going to preach, just letting everyone know that a bad lifestyle is what has contributed to my bad health. Now I must pay by taking medicines and eating foods with no taste. Mrs. Dash is my friend. My toes on my left foot have been blue on and off for almost 2 years now. A warning sign I should have paid more attention to. I almost lost my foot and still may lose as many as 3 toes but at least I'm going to live. Please don't think you are invincible by ignoring what your body is trying to tell you. Doctors can do amazing things these days. I will hopefully see some of you in game tomorrow. I have some fraggin' to do!
Peace - Brian
