I'd guess that if the hardware is passing the diagnostics then it would be a software issue. Do any of your other games lock up? If it is DODs specific then try a reinstall of the game. But there are others here with better tech knowledge then myself so hopefully they have a less painful fix.
If you done it, it ain't bragging.

Verify and Defrag game cache files through steam. Just right click on dod in libary and go to properties. Choose the local file tab and first verify the files then defrag the cache files. Hope this helps

remove the pci and enable the onboard and see how that goes. Or double check that the onboard is disabled.

sounds like driver problem. if you recently updated them roll back the drivers or you might have to start uninstalling and reinstalling drivers.

Take it all apart and reset everything. Then try a fresh install.

Hey Gutz did you ever find a solution to this issue? I rebuilt my PC 2 months ago and am now having issues with DODs locking up and freezing my PC. I have tried all the sugestions here and still the issue persists! Like you the amount of time i spend in game before the lock ups happen varies from 10 minutes to a couple of hours.
Unlike you though this is not something i can deal with its driving me f'ing crazy!!
Anyone have any suggestions? :eusa-think:
