Me and ATB got 6 free computers. They are branded Touch if anyone knows. Anyway. Heres the specs I can find out.
Processors are Intel Pentium D 940.... 3.20ghz/4M/800hz
GPUs are Asus Xtreme 550GE 256MB. They use a ATI VPU.
The motherboard says P5LD2 whatever that is. Its ASUS.
PSU is 400W, I think some are 450W.
They each came with 1 Crucial 1GB, DDR2, 533mhz 240pin stick.
They came with random optical drives but some had LG CD/DVD R drives.
My computer is ok, but we were wondering if we can build ATB an ok computer other than his shitty laptop to play DOD:S on. We will load one up with 4G of ram, and try out the graphics card.
We need to know if these processors are ok. They are dual core we think, but not the newer core 2 duo. We also want to know if the motherboards can take newer better processors. We also need a couple 2-3 harddrives just to get these going and we need operating systems.
Thanks for the help,
Team FREETARD!

No, I lent some equipment to a different trade on the jobsite for them. He didn't care what they were and said if I wanted 1 I had to take them all.

Those are dual core processors http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=27 ... ium+d+940)
Lower end but you could make a decent pc for DOD at least. Just combine all the memory into one computer and slap that video card in it. the PS should be fine.
Here is the link to asus which will tell you the specs for compatible processors
