HELP!!!!!!!!!!

having trouble with my build. the power goes on and off. this was my first time turning it on. any ideas what might be the problem? it it the 8pin ATX power connection?

Make sure that you are using all of the screw holes provided in the motherboard with the proper standoffs. You may be having a grounding issue. Also make sure you do not have any extra standoffs in the case contacting the motherboard. That happened to me once.

its might even be the connection for the cpu fan
is it labeled on the mobo where to place the cpu fan cables?
it might be that or
change the six pin connector to the other six set

Verify in you manual if your mobo needs the 8 pin power. Some have them but dont use them all the time.
Also I see you only have one stick of RAM in. Put your memory in. I have seem some mobos that turn off on memory errors.
double check your jumper connections. some times people put them in the wrong spots.
