That was really fucked up. Spankings were the thing back in my day and they worked well. This would be considered by some as child abuse.

I don't see the issue. Kid was bad, he was punished.
When I was a kid and swore i got a bar of soap in my mouth. I also got the hot sauce too once and a while. I got spanked and slapped in the mouth.
I learned to respect my elders and learned discipline.

The kids that ran wild in our schools and neighborhood were the ones that had total control over their parents and the parents never physically disciplined them.

When I got older and was capable of reason my parents then verbally discused my disobediance.

I just think you guys who think this is horrible are just a bunch of cry baby bleeding heart liberals. This is why there is no discipline in today’s society. People think that reasoning with a child works better than a spanking or other physical punishements.

Id have water boarded the little bastard.

No really I never spamnked, soaped or hot sauced my kids and when they were with me they behaved well and had good manners. Cant say the same about when they were with there mom. They have all become productive parts of society.

I think that multiple punishments for the same crime was going a little overboard. Hot sauce (IMO she made him keep it in his mouth for way too long) AND a cold shower? And, did she spank him while he was in the shower too? You can't tell from the video but it looks like she reached in and did something else (he screams louder) to him as well.

This kid looked like he was maybe only around 6 or 7 years old. I still think that the mom went overboard with the punishment. That was a lot of hot sauce that he spit out!

At least he will become more productive later in life by being able to win some of those contests where people try to eat a lot of really hot food.

Yeah but in your case you put the fear of god in them. I am sure you raised your voice at them quite a bit. Even then some of those bleeding hearts will cry about you yelling at your kids.
