For those who want to disable the windows key on the keyboard. this fucks me up sometimes so here is the fix for it.

There is also an exe file on GameBanana that allows you to do the same thing, with the option to turn on/off or allow to turn on at startup. Been using it for awhile now and it works fine. You need admin privileges to run it on Vista/Win 7.

or just move your keys to a different position

im making a full keyboard with only the keys i need and taking off all the other ones (have a spare one that is really really old and the "w"key doesnt work ill post pics when im done with it
pure gaming pad got sick of having all the other keys around and messing me up so i moved the wasd and made it a lil wider to fit comfortably with my hand

Honestly, the easiest way is to stick a pencil in there and just pop the key off. That way you can still press the windows button with something small.

Personally I love the windows key shortcuts and use them pretty often, so I decided to get one of those special keyboards for FPSes. The ZBoards are overpriced, but the ZBoard 'Fang' is pretty cheap, and all the important keys are different sizes and shapes for muscle memory. The only thing I hate about it is that it doesn't have an X key.
