hey guys, just woke up today and went to get on dod and it said no...
it starts, shows the valve guy, pops up the dod screen for about 5 seconds, then desktop... it worked fine last night before i went to bed, and apparently there was an update this morning or something. CS:s works fine as well as my other steam games.
windows 7, 64 bit
4 gigs ram
amd dualcore 2.1 ghz
geforce gts 285 1gig
i reinstalled DoD:s, verified and defragged the game files, updated my videocard drivers and still nothing. I even turned on "DEP" to see if that helped.
i made no changes to my system from last night to this morning, so i dont know what happened. If anyone can help that would be awesome, i want to shoot people =/
