Well considering that the Canadian team and the USA team both had ALL NHL players and no amatuer's playing, I look at the game as an "All Star" game and not even an Olympic event. Let alone the 3 Chicago Blackhawks players on the Canadian team. OMG!!!

Same here, almost had formation canceled too

you know, most all of the players in the olympics were pro players. if they weren't nhll players, they were guys in pro-equivalent leagues in their countries. and there were several other teams which most of their rosters were almost all nhl players (not just USA and canada)

either way, it was a freakin amazing game (especially when parise scored). kinda bummed that miller didn't play today against pittsburgh, but he did face nearly 200 shots on goal during 11 days of games and only allowed 8....so he can rest up for a game or 2 . i just find it awesome how much respect he got during the medal ceremony, and today when they introduced the olympic players before the buffalo pittsburgh game.

I don't mean to be a dick about it. But the only time I ever get patriotic is during hockey games with the states. I was very happy that we won gold in both mens and womens. To you americans out there I say GG. That game was for the history books
