Hey All,

Is anyone else experiencing issues launching DOD:S? I get 1 of 3 messages when I try to connect.

1. hl2.exe has stopped working ( I read the "how to" fix guide provided by steam and still no go)

2. Unable to connect to the steam server.

3. The game is currently unavailable, please try again later.


Any help is appreciated.

As of right around 10 A.M. PST Steam staff left this message on the DODS board...

Maybe today it will be fixed - I hope.

Once the update is pushed through it will take a little while for the server to apply it. Expect continued downtime until the update processes.

Looks like it's back. Keep your fingers crossed.
