Question..
Say It's a new work policy that Part-Time Employees can only work 4.5 hours a day...So If I leave at my scheduled time at the 4.5 hour mark....job done or not, Can I be fired?!

job done! the only thing they can do and this is california law is extend you 15 min after your shift but they have to tell you before you clock out. and i also believe they can make you work a full 8 hrs if they tell you 2 hrs prior to the end of your shift

I believe if you tell your supervisor that you have to leave but the job isnt finished( at least 30 mins before your time is up). He would have to find some one to finish what you were doing or finish it himself. If they bitch then that gives you more of a reason why they should make you full time.

Thanks guys, and to mongo's post, ya I'm just gunna tell them that I have a new job, and i made it work around the schedual that they gave me...fucking bitches cutting my down from 8hrs a day to 4.5 putas!!

No such thing as self help. If you didn't do it yourself then it isn't self help.
The real meaning of self-help is discovering potential and possibilities; to find out what you are capable of, how you might be limiting that potential with current beliefs, attitudes and approaches, and how you can make the best use of those possibilities to achieve whatever it is you yearn for. you have to discover these things for yourself. If you get a book from another person then it isn't "self Help" now is it?
