So I have a problem with my desktop, when the computer boots where it shows the Hard drive and disk drive list, on the PCI Listing page, it just restarts the bios going back to the hard drive/ disk drive, repeating it self.
Also, when I plug in the keyboard, the lights of CAP,SCROLL and NUM lock lights up once, same goes for the mice but they don't work. Nothing lights up after it was plugged in.
I have checked troubleshooting and nothing helps. There's power into the keyboard and mice but its not detected on windows.
This is before the repeating cycle happened.

Re: Motherboard problem
Have you tried going into bios and resetting it? Or is it that quick at post that you cant even do that?
Re: Motherboard problem
I would first check the BIOS battery and see if that helps It is just a CR2032. replace that and see if the settings hold.

Re: Motherboard problem
Of course I reset the bios but that didn't work, and I checked the settings, nothing made a difference.
Re: Motherboard problem
No replace the actually battery. If your bios settings are changing on you it could be a bad battery.

Its not changing on me. Its just repeating the POST.
Re: Motherboard problem
During the boot sequence, does it display the hard drive information? Or is it not reading the hard drive at all?
